Color and design play important roles in staging a home. My background is a mixture of these two components. As a young woman I was extremely fortunate to be trained in home decorating by a mentor who passed her skills and "eye" for color, composition, and style on to me.
My formal education is in Art (BA, Art Studio, UC Davis). I was lucky to be taught by internationally known artists in "seeing" as well as in creating. I use many pieces of my own work as well as work by other artists in my stagings. These pieces coupled with quality furnishings create the inviting and sophisticated look that sells homes.
